During my first career in Information Technology, with Hewlett Packard, we were encouraged to take an active role and
contribute to the local community. I was asked to build on the voluntary work I was already doing and help people, in both
the public and commercial sectors, achieve their goals.
I knew from an early age that I had a passion for helping others and, at this point in time, that passion was being
fulfilled...

I was a counsellor to people who were experiencing severe personal difficulties
While chairperson of the local PTA, within 2 years we raised the annual income from around 1500 dollars to over
20,000 dollars
Following our daughter's life threatening illness, my wife and I became members of the local Meningitis charity - I was
asked to develop the business plan and, over time, we were able to take the annual donations of a few thousand dollars into
millions. |
While I was happily managing my team and contributing to the local community, I was having dinner at what was to be my last
I.T. conference in Palo Alto, California when a colleague and fellow I.T. manager leaned over and spoke the words that would
change my life forever...
"You're not an IT Manager - you have more to offer."
This is when I decided that I wanted to help more people pursue their goals. This was a major decision given my
'comfortable' career. In order to help people, I set up my own company and provided workshops and seminars in planning,
problem solving, continuous improvement, personal development and life long learning. I really enjoyed working for myself.
After 20+ years of experience, I realized that I had a true passion to help and inspire others to accomplish their goals. And
this is when I decided that I wanted to become an Internet coach, so that I could help people from all over the world –
people who have a dream, a strong desire to work from home and want the freedom.

Some of the Challenges I faced…
